Making a deposit step by step
Funding an account looks like the trivial half of the cashier right up to the moment something hangs. This page follows the gap between the confirmation button and the balance changing: how wide that gap is on each rail, what stretches it, and which numbers are worth fixing before the first euro moves. The channel comparison lives on the payments overview.
Open an account on the operator's siteFour steps, one of which gets interrupted
- The cashier opens inside a signed-in account, not on a public page.
- A channel is picked and an amount entered in euros; the screen shows the minimum and the limit that currently applies.
- Confirmation happens elsewhere — in online banking, in a wallet app or in a crypto wallet.
- The redirect back to the cashier closes the transaction and the balance updates.
Step four is the fragile one. Closing the banking tab before the redirect completes can leave a payment initiated but unconfirmed, even though the bank screen looked finished. Waiting the extra three seconds prevents most of the support tickets this page exists to describe.
How long each rail takes
| Channel | Min. deposit | Typical credit | What sets the pace |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustly | 10 € | immediate | The cashier credits on the bank's confirmation message |
| Bank transfer | 20 € | seconds to one banking day | Instant SEPA support and the bank's cut-off |
| Visa / Mastercard | 10 € | immediate | Issuer authorisation, occasionally a decline on category |
| Skrill | 10 € | immediate | Wallet balance must already be in euros |
| Paysafecard | 10 € | immediate | The voucher balance must cover the full amount at once |
| Bitcoin | ~20 € equivalent | 20–60 minutes | Confirmation count and the fee attached by the sender |
Set the limit before the amount
The most useful field in the cashier is not the amount box but the deposit limit. Under Estonian licence conditions it is a standard part of account setup, and it behaves like a one-way valve: lowering it applies at once, raising it only after a waiting period. That asymmetry is deliberate, and it means the sensible opening number is one that feels slightly too tight for the first month. Tightening later is always possible; loosening in a hurry is not.
Why minimums are not the same everywhere
The gap between ten and twenty euros reflects processing cost rather than policy. A bank link or a wallet clears automatically at a small fixed cost, so a small top-up still makes sense. A classic bank transfer costs the same to handle whatever the sum, which makes a ten-euro instruction uneconomic. On a blockchain the floor is set by the network fee: when sending costs a couple of euros, a small deposit loses a disproportionate share before it arrives.
The name has to match
Funds must come from an account, card or wallet belonging to the account holder. This is not a formality, because the payout later travels back to the same name — if the deposit came from somebody else, there is no return path at all. Shared family cards and joint accounts are the most common reason a first withdrawal stalls at the step where the channel is bound to the account owner.
When a top-up does not arrive
Three checks come before writing to anyone. Did the money actually leave the bank? If not, the transaction broke before the chain and there is nothing to trace. Was the amount below the minimum? A short payment hangs and needs manual handling. On a blockchain, did the network match the one the cashier issued the address for? If all three are clean, only the payment reference or the transaction hash is needed, and that single line is what lets anyone find the payment from either end. How to write that message is covered on the support page.
What the deposit decides for later
Credited funds are playable immediately, but two consequences are already locked in. A bonus condition has to be chosen before confirming, since it is rarely attached retroactively. And the channel used on the way in usually determines the way out, which means the speed of a future payout is being selected right now rather than on the day of the win. Those consequences are laid out on the withdrawal page.
